History comes alive in Leicestershire

Battle of Bosworth, Leicestershire

Leicestershire is preparing for battle as it celebrates the 525^th anniversary of the Battle of Bosworth on 21 and 22 August. Bosworth Battlefield is organising a spectacular re-enactment as well as a host other activities, including falconers, jousting tournaments and even a knight school for the kids.

Okay, so the re-enactment will be nothing like the video featured on YouTube, but you’ve got to admit that there’s a certain charm to history by lego. We at TopThingsToDo.co.uk think we would have done much better in history GCSE if our teacher had provided lego demonstrations of major events.
