The terms and conditions apply to any and all use of this website. By accessing and using this site you agree to be bound by them. We may change these terms and conditions from time to time. From the information you have supplied to us you have come to a part of this website that is aimed at the UK and EU market. We cannot guarantee that it accords with local laws in other countries.

Prize draw terms and conditions – Tickets to the Leicester Comedy Festival

  1. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of East Midlands Trains, Illustrated London News Limited and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
  2.  The prize: Tickets for two to the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year award – famous for helping to launch the careers of Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford and Rhod Gilbert. One night’s stylish city accommodation at the Belmont Hotel. A curry for two at Mem Saab. No cash alternative. Travel and all other costs are responsibility of the winner and their guest.
  3. To enter: complete the online entry form at http://topthingstodo.co.uk/win-comedy-curry including your answer to the competition question by the close date of 11.59 pm 10 February 2011.
  4. Only one entry per person is allowed.
  5. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Entries made online using methods such as a macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed and all such entries will be disqualified. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
  6. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
  7. Winner will be selected in a random draw from all valid entries received by the closing date. Draw will be under the supervision of PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service, and conducted within 14 days of the close date. Winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
  9. The name and county of the winner will be available at TopThingsToDo.co.uk after 20 February 2011.
  10. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the prize draw and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. See our privacy policy.
  11. Winners may be required to participate in publicity arising from the promotion.
  12. By taking part in this promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
